PT Indonesia Digital Identity (VIDA) has reported that 84 percent of businesses have faced security incidents connected to SMS one-time passwords (OTP), while 67 percent of consumers have experienced unauthorized transactions. VIDA's Founder and Group CEO, Niki Luhur, emphasized the need to address these vulnerabilities through strong digital identity verification solutions, which are crucial for protecting both the public and businesses from cyber threats.

To enhance cybersecurity in Indonesia, VIDA has partnered with several national financial service companies, including Mandiri Taspen, Superbank, BCA Syariah, and OVO, among others. The organization offers online identity verification solutions and VIDA Sign electronic signatures to bolster the security of digital transactions in financial institutions. Furthermore, VIDA is assisting these institutions in combating AI-driven security threats through fraud detection technology.

Niki Luhur highlighted that their services align with the Ministry of Communication and Digital's efforts to develop robust infrastructure aimed at achieving national AI sovereignty. VIDA is committed to ongoing innovation and collaboration to create a safe and conducive digital ecosystem for technological advancement and community trust. Additionally, VIDA is expanding its reach by entering the Philippines to promote Indonesian-made digital security technology in the global market.
